Ready, Set, Puzzle! CEF’s Speed Puzzling Competition is Back for Year Three 🧩

How fast can you put together a puzzle when the clock is ticking — and other teams are racing right beside you?

It’s time to find out!

The Centennial Education Foundation’s Speed Puzzling Competition is back for its third year on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at William Tennent High School, and we’re looking for teams ready to put their puzzle skills to the test.

Whether you’re a family of puzzle fanatics, a group of friends looking for a fun challenge, or someone who takes very seriously the question of who gets to work on the edge pieces, grab your team and join us!

How Does Speed Puzzling Work?

Teams of up to four people will receive identical, wrapped puzzles. When the competition begins, the puzzles are revealed and the race is on!

The goal is simple: complete your puzzle as quickly as possible.

We’ll have two divisions:

Junior Division — Ages 8–12
Teams will race to complete a 300-piece puzzle. Registration is $40 per team.

Adult Division — Ages 13+
Teams will tackle a 500-piece puzzle. Registration is $60 per team.

And yes — there are bragging rights involved! Prizes will be awarded to the top three teams in each division.

Every registered team also gets to take their competition puzzle home, and each participant receives a raffle ticket.

Not Puzzling? Come Join the Fun Anyway!

You don’t have to compete to be part of the afternoon.

Spectators are welcome for $10 at the door, and we’ll have raffle baskets, a 50/50 drawing, a snack stand and our Puzzle Swap Table.

Have a puzzle at home you’ve already conquered? Bring it to the Puzzle Swap Table and exchange it for one that’s new to you!

Puzzle for a Purpose

Of course, there’s another reason we love this event.

Proceeds from the Speed Puzzling Competition benefit the Centennial Education Foundation and help us continue investing in grants, scholarships, programs and educational opportunities for more than 5,000 students throughout the Centennial School District.

So while you’re racing to find that one impossible piece that has to be here somewhere, you’re also helping CEF support our students and teachers.

Ready to Assemble Your Team?

Join us on Saturday, October 3 at the William Tennent High School cafeteria, 333 Centennial Road, Warminster.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. and the competition begins at noon.

Registration closes September 30, so start assembling your team now!
